Happy "Made In America" week, everyone! Oops!!!

In a desperate attempt to deflect attention from the ever-widening collusion scandal, President Tiny hands has declared this "Made in America Week." Sounds great, doesn't it? It's an excellent idea (which the Democrats have been pushing for two decades, at least) Buy American is the meme and one that I happily get behind.

Now for the problem -- Of the myriad products in the Trump organization, which includes Ivanka Trump's line of ugly shoes and cheap looking clothing, and the Cheeto Bandito's line of ties, suits, vodka, etc. NOT ONE ITEM IS MADE IN AMERICA. That's right, not one single item. They are mostly made in China, Mexico, Bangladesh, Vietnam and India.

Someone forgot to remind the Cheeto-chump that NONE of his or his vile daughter's crap is actually made in America! Chinese steel was used in his hotels and high rises, and his workforce for those buildings were 80% foreign nationals (and many of them got stiffed for their efforts).  Lucky for him, the suckers bought it and still eat up the garbage he spews.

Ahh Republiclowns - yet more hypocrisy from the party of kooks and scammers.....

  1. My bad. I've just learned that Trump beach towels and Trump eyeglasses are, at least in part, made in America. The other 99% of his crap still made in cheap factories overseas for the fat-assed hypocrite and his vile family.

  2. Being consistent and supporting "Made in America" is for the little people, not for hypocrite billionaire whaite trash Trumps.

  3. That is absolutely correct....why have things made by expensive union shops with numerous senseless regulations that inhibit an ability to make a decent profit when you can have a quality product made overseas and increase your profit margin tenfold. That's how a smart person can accumulate eleven billion dollars.

  4. Business
Workers endured long hours, low pay at Chinese factory used by Ivanka Trump’s clothing-maker

Workers at a factory in China used by the company that makes clothing for Ivanka Trump’s fashion line and other brands worked nearly 60 hours a week to earn wages of little more than $62 a week, according to a factory audit released Monday.

The factory’s 80 workers knit clothes for the contractor, G-III Apparel Group, which has held the exclusive license to make the Ivanka Trump brand’s $158 dresses, $79 blouses and other clothes since 2012.

Inspectors with the Fair Labor Association, an industry monitoring group whose members include Apple and Nike, found two dozen violations of international labor standards during a two-day tour of the factory in October, saying in a report that workers faced daunting hours, high turnover, and pay near or below China’s minimum wage.

This is what Rusty supports. Comrade Trump and his felonious family getting rich off of the poorest of poor people. Those are his values.

  5. I too am tired of being called a racist and a bigot. What they fail to remember is that The Black Panthers, Farrakhan, Al Sharpton, all voted for Obama in 2008 & 2012. Doesn’t that make anyone else who supported Obama a ”racist” because these other ”radical” groups and people supported him? And I hate to tell them Dems, but Hillary is an old white lady! She ain’t black!
According to Google, here is the definition of a Bigot. Read it and think of our fine, intolerant, left wing friends.
    big·ot
    ˈbiɡət/
    noun
a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.
One of my wife’s childhood friends had to be escorted from our house and asked never to return because she could not control her hatred for Trump supports and us, her friends. Friends since they were 2, she will never be allowed to return to our home. This from a ”silver spoon” grown adult (45+), never married and waiting on an inheritance of more than 10 million dollars. Always bailed out of trouble and never had to do anything a single day of her life, she continues to preach about conservatives and how the government owes her everything. She also does not believe that she has to obey the law. Recently arrested, she fought the officers and refused to listen to them. All of this over a simple disagreement with a neighbor. All she could do was yell ”black lives matter”. She is white.
Thanksgiving was difficult with my Bubble relatives. My left coast siblings could not restrain themselves and used the words ”racially intolerant” to my kids one too many times. Packed up the minivan and headed home. That was my last attempt to close the ever growing divide that is separating us.
Finally, I think it’s funny that Obama can blame Fox News for ”waking up middle America to vote”. WTF? They knock on doors in the inner city, doesn’t middle America’s vote count? Just because they may have stayed home in 2008 & 2012, you’re pissed because you didn’t get away with it again. Sorry Bubble Liberals! Sorry Obama.
I tell my kids this all the time: ”Equal rights do not mean special rights.” As a society, we all have to live by the same laws. Once Trump takes office, law will be returned to the streets.

  6. "Angry Guy" is a rip-off of a friend of mine who comments at my blog. I know the original "Angry Guy," and the one posting here is a name-stealer from Lisa's blog. Almost all of her commenters steal other people's blog names and IDs. They are a bunch of degenerate slobs and racists. And they'll only get worse as Trump loses more and more support and finally has his fat mendacious ass thrown out of office.

And that day surely is coming.

  7. Thanks Shaw. I've commented at WYD once or twice and someone there stole my name. The person who commented above is hiding behind a hidden profile.

  8. Fake Angry Guy is just engaged in change-the-subject trolling since his comment isn't about "made in America" week at all. Shackleford is dodging the issue of Trump's hypocrisy. Regardless of Trump's reasons for producing most of his products with foreign labor, it's not consistent with supporting American-made products -- which was also a big part of his campaign ideology.

Incidentally, only a small percentage of the US labor force is unionized (a big part of the reason for stagnating wages, right there). There have been ongoing quality problems with manufacturing in Third World countries. Germany, which has very high wages and unions so powerful they actually help run the corporations, is one of the world's most successful economies and biggest exporters (export volume comparable to the US despite having only one-fourth the population). They compete based on quality, not based on driving wages down.

Ultimately, the only way to compete on wage levels with Third World countries is to become one ourselves. Laissez-faire economics and ideological hostility to unions and worker power will inexorably push us in that direction. Trump claimed he would stop this. His own business policies show otherwise.

  9. By the way, that definition of bigotry as hostility toward opinions has been a wingnut talking point for some time, because it conveniently excludes most forms of real bigotry. The KKK's hatred of blacks has nothing to do with what opinions blacks hold, any more than the fundie hatred of gays does. So if bigotry is re-defined as intolerance toward opinions, the KKK and the homophobes are not bigots, but people who object to the hateful views (opinions) of those groups are bigots. Very convenient.

I don't know where that re-definition came from. Yes, it does come up in Google, but real dictionaries, including online ones, show definitions which fit the word's actual meaning.

  10. FAKE "The Angry Guy" copied and pasted his entire comment from a commenter on The Blaze webpage.

  11. oh, its so special that Shaw is so concerned about the workers in China....its to bad she doesn't show the same concern for the steel workers here in America who lost their jobs due to asinine regulations imposed by Obama. Sad,very sad.

  12. As usual, the rabid right, in the form of R.S., gets its facts wrong:

"...global overcapacity of steel -- in part due to massive subsidization by foreign governments -- is a huge problem and a chief contributor to the crisis the American steel industry faces. The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development estimates that there are about 700 million metric tons of excess steel capacity globally today.

China's government-owned and -supported steel industry represents almost half of the world's steelmaking and more than half of the world's overcapacity. Between 2000 and 2014, Chinese steel production increased a whopping 540%, while U.S. production declined 13%. As has been said by one steel company CEO in testimony before the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission, the Chinese government is a company disguised as a country."

    SOURCE

Also, Rusty's FAKE president uses foreign steel to build his hotels:

    U.S.
NEWSWEEK: HOW DONALD TRUMP DITCHED U.S. STEEL WORKERS IN FAVOR OF CHINA

Plenty of blue-collar workers believe that, as president, Donald Trump would be ready to fight off U.S. trade adversaries and reinvigorate the country’s manufacturing industries through his commitment to the Rust Belt. What they likely don’t know is that Trump has been stiffing American steel workers on his own construction projects for years, choosing to deprive untold millions of dollars from four key electoral swing states and instead directing it to China—the country whose trade practices have helped decimate the once-powerful industrial center of the United States.

But don't be too hard on naive and uninformed people like Rusty. They're what is known as "Dead Enders," hanging on to the delusion that Donald Trump is going to save the U.S., when in fact the only thing he's interested in is saving his very large posterior.

And he's already shopping around the idea of pardoning himself and is crime family. LOL!

Typical WYD escapee. Doesn't counter or refute anything I've written, but, like a toddler, resorts to the "You're a poopy-head!" retort.

    SAD!
